What schools ask us before requesting a demo.

What it is

What is Auladia?

School management software for private and state-funded schools in Spain (ages 3 to 16), academies and music schools. The office and school leaders work in the browser; teachers and families use the app on their phone or tablet.

Which schools is it for?

Schools with nursery, primary and lower secondary, academies and after-school providers and music and arts schools. Each school switches on the modules it needs: an academy can start with the core and a full school can have everything.

What does it do, exactly?

Enrolment and pre-registration, attendance and absence notes, timetables, marks and reports, messages and consent forms for each parent, school lunch with diets and allergies, transport, class photos and bills with SEPA direct debit. There is a page for each feature and the list of modules.

Does it use artificial intelligence?

No. Auladia does not use any, and your school’s data is not used to train any.

Does it have clients?

Auladia is in its pilot phase and looking for its first schools. That is why we publish no logos, testimonials or user numbers: the screens on this website belong to Escola Bosc de la Riera, a made-up school.

The app and languages

Is there an app for families and teachers?

Yes, for iPhone, iPad and Android. Today it is in pilot and not yet in the App Store or Google Play: it will reach the stores with the first schools (Coming next).

Which languages is it in?

The app and the management screens are in Catalan and Spanish, and each person chooses theirs. There is no English interface.

Does it work without a signal?

The teacher’s register and notes do: they are saved encrypted on the phone and sent when the connection comes back. The guide to taking the register offline explains how.

Pricing

How much does Auladia cost?

The price is per pupil, never per teacher or per family, and depends on the modules you switch on. The figures are not published yet: we send a written proposal for the size of your school (Pricing).

Is there a setup fee?

There is no mandatory setup package. We import the data ourselves, together with the school office.

Data

Where is the data stored?

Production is ready on Amazon Web Services, in a European Union region, with encrypted backups in another European Union region; it starts with the first school. The most sensitive fields, such as bank account, health and court rulings, are encrypted with a key of each school’s own.

Who is the data controller?

The school is the controller and Auladia the processor. A data processing agreement, signed before any real data is loaded, governs it (Security).

Can teachers see pupils’ health data?

No. Health data, psychological reports and court rulings are not visible to any teacher, and every look by someone who can see them is logged. The lunch supervisor sees the diet, not the diagnosis.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You take the pupil records and lists in open files, and then they are deleted, except what the law requires us to keep, which stays locked. Backups expire within 30 days.

Switching software

Can we bring our data from Clickedu, GWIDO or a spreadsheet?

Yes. You send us the lists your current software exports and we import them; before confirming we review duplicates with you, and for the next 24 hours the import can be undone. Switching to Auladia explains it.

When is the best time to switch?

Decide between April and July and migrate between July and September, when there are no classes. Mid-year, the school works with two systems at once (choosing software).

Does it produce official records and the RALC exchange?

See their status on Coming next, the page we keep up to date. What the rules require and what Auladia covers today before the official record are in the guide to assessment records. If your school needs them from day one, let’s talk before you decide anything.

What is the demo like?

A video call with the software running for real on a made-up school’s data. You go in as head teacher, as class teacher and as a pupil’s mother, and afterwards, if you like, you can log in yourself (Request a demo).

Want to see it on screen?

In the demo we show you how Auladia handles it with a made-up school’s data, and what it does not do yet.
