Comparison
Auladia and Clickedu, fact by fact: which one fits your school.
Reviewed on
The short answer
Clickedu, part of Sanoma Learning, presents itself as a management and learning platform for state, state-funded and private schools at every stage, with official documents for each Spanish region, five languages and integration with Moodle, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Auladia is school management software in pilot for state-funded private and private schools, academies and music schools, focused on day-to-day work: the register with no signal, separated families, school lunch, the bus and SEPA direct debits. Its interface is in Catalan and Spanish.
If your school needs official documents inside its software, look at that row of the table first; if day-to-day work matters most, look at the rest.
What each one says about itself
Clickedu describes itself as “una plataforma de gestión administrativa y educativa (ERP y SIS) basada en la nube”, a cloud-based administrative and educational platform (platform), for “todas las etapas educativas y centros públicos, concertados y privados” (home page). The company that produces it and signs its VERI*FACTU declaration is Clickart Taller de Comunicació S.L. (declaration), and the website says it is part of Sanoma Learning.
Auladia is school management software for state-funded private and private schools, academies, and music and arts schools. It is in pilot and has no client schools yet. Management is done in the browser, the iPhone, iPad and Android app is in pilot, and both are in Catalan and Spanish.
The table: what Clickedu publishes and what Auladia does today
| The question | Clickedu, according to its website | Auladia today |
|---|---|---|
| Which schools it is for | “Para todas las etapas educativas y centros públicos, concertados y privados”, all stages and state, state-funded and private schools (home page). The same page mentions “más de 700 centros educativos” (over 700 schools) and says “Formamos parte de Sanoma Learning”. | State-funded private (concertada) and private schools, academies, and music and arts schools. In pilot: no client schools yet. |
| Languages | “Castellano, Inglés, Catalán y valenciano, Euskera, Gallego”: Spanish, English, Catalan and Valencian, Basque and Galician (platform). | The app and the management screens are in Catalan and Spanish. There is no English interface. |
| Official documents and minutes | “Documentación oficial según normativa CCAA y ley vigente”: official documents under each region’s rules (platform). A connection to Esfer@ or the RALC is not stated on its page for Catalonia. | Official minutes and academic records: see their status on Coming next and what the rules require in the guide to assessment records. Exchange with the RALC, Catalonia’s register of pupils, not yet. |
| Enrolment and pre-registration | “Matriculación de alumnos” and “Módulo de preinscripción”: enrolment and pre-registration (platform). | Yes. Online enrolment and pre-registration, without the family having to create an account. |
| Attendance and offline register | An offline register is not stated on the pages we cite (platform). | Yes. The register is stored encrypted on the phone and sent when the network returns. |
| Communication and app | “APP única para familias, docentes, PAS y alumnado”, one app for families, teachers, staff and pupils, and “Mensajería instantánea”, instant messaging (platform). The “Clickedu” app is on the App Store. | With a caveat: the iPhone, iPad and Android app is in pilot, not yet in the stores. Email and SMS notices for families without the app are in preparation. |
| Separated families and split bills | Separate logins for each parent and bills split between them are not stated on the pages we cite (platform). | Yes. Each parent has their own login and notifications, bills are split to the cent, and court restrictions are never shown to anyone who should not know them. |
| School lunch and transport | “Comedor”, “Transporte escolar”, “Extraescolares” and “Acogida” (lunch, school transport, after-school activities and early care) are among its modules (platform). | Yes. The lunch supervisor sees the diet and allergies on the register without opening the health record. Transport is an add-on: the family sees when the pupil gets on and off the bus. |
| Fees and direct debit batches | “Gestión de impagados” and “Formularios AEAT” (unpaid bills and tax forms) (platform); its FAQ says the platform can “generar una nueva remesa de cobro”, create a new collection batch (FAQ). | Card or Bizum payments | “Pagos por TPV”, card terminal payments (platform). Bizum is not stated on the pages we cite. | Not yet: in preparation. Today, direct debit or the school office. |
| Learning platforms (LMS) and integrations | It integrates “entornos de aprendizaje (LMS) como Microsoft 365 for Education, Google Workspace for Education, Moodle, Dropbox e Its Learning” (platform). | Not yet: it does not connect to Moodle, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. |
| Security, certifications and hosting | “contamos con la ISO 27001” (home page); “infraestructura cloud de Amazon Web Services” and “servidores alojados en Europa”, servers in Europe (platform). The ENS is not stated on the pages we cite. | No ENS or ISO 27001 certification yet. Data will be hosted in a European Union region, with encrypted backups in another European Union region, and the most sensitive fields are encrypted with a key that belongs to each school. |
| Published price | Not published: “El precio depende del tamaño del centro educativo y de las necesidades específicas”, the price depends on the size of the school and its needs (FAQ). | Not published. Pricing is per pupil, never per teacher or per family. |
When each one fits
Based on what it publishes, Clickedu fits a school that needs, inside its software, official documents for its region, an interface in five languages, a connection to Moodle, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, card terminal payments or ISO 27001 certification. Auladia today has no connection to learning platforms, no card payments and no such certification.
Auladia fits a state-funded private or private school, an academy or a music school that wants to sort out day-to-day work first: the register in a classroom with no signal, two parents with separate logins and bills, a lunch supervisor who sees allergies without opening the health record, the bus, and SEPA batches with returns. Music schools have their own pack: one-to-one lessons, groups, ensembles, instruments and concert ticketing.
They are not exclusive: a school can keep Clickedu for official documents and use Auladia for part of its day-to-day work, as long as each piece of data is kept in only one place.
If you are coming from Clickedu
Clickedu’s services page mentions “Migración de datos” and lists “Importaciones / Exportaciones” among the training topics for the school office (services).
We do the import ourselves, with your school office. We have no dedicated Clickedu importer: we use the spreadsheet lists (CSV or Excel) you can export from it, one sheet per kind of record: pupils, families, mandates. Before anything is confirmed, we go through duplicates and incomplete records with you, and the import can be undone for 24 hours afterwards.
SEPA mandates signed on paper are imported and valid from the first month, as long as the school states where it keeps the originals. The timeline, what to export and what stays in the old system are in the migration guide; how we get started is on Switch to Auladia.
How we made this comparison
On 5 October 2026 we read the public pages of the official Clickedu website and its App Store listing. Every fact in the Clickedu column links to the page it comes from, and text in quotation marks is quoted word for word, in Spanish. “Not stated” means we did not find it on the pages we cite, not that Clickedu does not do it: it may be on another page, in the contract or in a later version.
We wrote the Auladia column ourselves, and we are one of the two products being compared. It uses the same three states as the checklist for choosing school software: yes, with a caveat, or not yet. There are no scores, no opinions of ours about the other product and no app store ratings.
Spanish Law 3/1991 on unfair competition, article 10, allows services with the same purpose to be compared if the comparison is objective, based on verifiable features, and neither misleading nor disparaging. If you find a fact that is wrong or out of date, write to hola@auladia.com with the link and we will correct it and update the review date.
Frequently asked questions
Can Auladia replace Clickedu completely?
It depends on official documents. Official minutes and academic records: see their status on Coming next and what the rules require in the guide to assessment records. Exchange with the RALC, Catalonia’s register of pupils, not yet. If your school needs them inside its software, compare that row of the table before you decide. Day-to-day work (register, families, lunch, bus and bills) Auladia already does.
Can Clickedu and Auladia be used at the same time?
Yes, as long as each piece of data is kept in only one place: for example, official documents in Clickedu and lunch, the bus or separated families in Auladia. You need a data processing agreement with each provider.
Can I import my Clickedu data into Auladia?
Yes, from the lists Clickedu exports as CSV or Excel. There is no direct importer: we do the import, the school office checks it before it is confirmed, and it can be undone for 24 hours.
How much does each one cost?
Neither publishes prices. Clickedu says “El precio depende del tamaño del centro educativo y de las necesidades específicas”, the price depends on the size of the school and its needs; Auladia charges per pupil, never per teacher or per family, and makes a proposal based on the size of the school and its modules.
Do they have an app for families?
Clickedu publishes “APP única para familias, docentes, PAS y alumnado”, one app for families, teachers, staff and pupils, which is on the App Store. The Auladia app for iPhone, iPad and Android is in pilot and not yet in the stores.
What Auladia does
Auladia runs the school day: the register, including with no signal; notices and permission slips; separated families with two logins and bills split to the cent; school lunch with diets and allergies; the bus, as an add-on; photos, hiding pupils without image consent; and SEPA batches with pre-notification and returns, where the person who approves is not the one who creates.
In the demo you see it with a made-up school of real size, logging in as the head teacher, as a class teacher and as a separated mother. The interface is in Catalan and Spanish.
Today Auladia has no English interface, no card or Bizum payments, no connection to learning platforms and no ENS or ISO 27001 certification, and the app is not yet in the stores. Official minutes and academic records: see their status on Coming next and what the rules require in the guide to assessment records. Exchange with the RALC, Catalonia’s register of pupils, not yet.
